The General Manager, Accounting will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving financial insights that support business strategy.

12 – 18+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or project-based environments.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, costing, and compliance
- Proven leadership experience in managing and scaling accounting teams
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across functions
- High level of professional ethics and integrity
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset
CA qualified/semi-qualified is preferred.
Financial Leadership and Governance
Lead the Accounting function with full ownership of financial reporting, compliance, and controls
Establish and maintain robust financial governance frameworks
Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership for decision-making
Cost Accounting
Monitor cost variances and drive margin improvement initiatives
Partner with estimation and procurement teams for cost validation and optimization
Banking and Treasury Management
Manage banking relationships and coordination
Oversee cash flow planning, working capital management, and fund utilization
Ensure timely bank reconciliations and compliance with financial obligations
Financial Reporting and Compliance
Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and management reports
Oversee statutory compliance including taxation and regulatory filings
Manage internal and external audits and ensure closure of audit observations
Interdepartmental Coordination
Collaborate closely with procurement, operations, and project teams
Ensure financial alignment across functions
Support business teams with actionable financial insights
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement
Oversee performance management and capability building
